Hey lovelies! How have you been? I haven’t blogged in a little while and what perfect timing to do so ‘cos I have some exciting news to share! Yaay!
In June this year, I had the opportunity to exhibit at The Wool Monty Show as a featured designer. It was there that I met the amazing duo (Marie and Dominique) of Wool is the Answer. Their stand was behind mine (sorta) and we got chatting – I liked them both instantly!
During the course of the show, Marie and Dominique approached me about designing a crochet shawl for them as they had been thinking about expanding their range of patterns to include crochet as well. I pretty much said yes as I wanted to work with these awesome ladies. We exchanged details and we carried on with our discussion after we returned to our different bases. As they say, the rest is history and The Call me Rosie crochet shawl pattern was born…cue yaaaay!! Here’s Marie and Dominique, on the latest Wool is the Answer podcast, introducing the shawl and giving a quick background story of how we met, etc.
The Call me Rosie Shawl pattern is available to purchase on the Wool is the Answer website on its own or as a kit in Paradise Sunset and Purple Rain (used in the sample pictured below) and in Peacock and Purple Rain, so head on over there and grab yourself the pattern or the kit. The pattern calls for DK yarn, is totally fun to make and you would love rocking your shawl when you’re done as it’s stylish and can pretty much be worn for any occasion.
